I'm a student of story and its capacity to vivify. I’m a writer and documentary filmmaker serving mission-driven organizations with content, and marketing, public relations and fundraising communications for web, print and video.

I'm thrilled to help originate and prototype the startling new Karios Alive! Arts and Health/Creative Aging live interactive participatory dance, music and theater webcast, Dancing Heart™ Live!

My national award-winning independent television journalism has been broadcast on Twin Cities Public Television, KCTS/9 Seattle and national PBS. I’ve contributed essays to Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, Minnesota Parent and The Phoenix; and poetry to literary magazines, community newspapers and anthologies.

In addition to my communications work, I:

• Do relationship coaching and officiate at weddings at openheartopeneyes.com, with a forthcoming book based on my work with couples.

• Serve as an Associate Teaching Artist for the national award-winning Arts and Health social impact pioneer kairosalive.org.

• Have a background in theater and am a performing folk musician.
